Film Forecast aims to provide you with high-quality movie recommendations. Simply rate a few movies, and our custom algorithm will gain insight into your movie preferences. We factor in movie genres, directors, actors, release dates, movie run times, along with similar users and their top rated movies to give you the best possible movie recommendations.

We are releasing this app currently as a public beta. This means that not all features and bugs of our app have been worked out. You will experience issues. There also is not a diverse selection of movies we recommend, simply because we only recommend movies that our database has seen before. In order to grow our movie database, we rely on users rating new movies that we haven't gathered data for yet. The more users and movies we acquire, the smarter our recommendations will become.
